To celebrate a significant birthday this year, one of our Trustees, Philip Rowland Smith has decided to raise money for World In Need.
On May 20th, he will cycle from his home in Crowborough, East Sussex, to the port of Newhaven, where he will take the ferry to Dieppe in northern France. From there, he will cycle to Loches, a small, medieval town in the Loire valley. It’s 400 miles, door to door, and should take him 6-7 days.
His progress will be reported via Twitter and Facebook, and he hopes to raise £2000, which will make a real difference to the lives of people in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
If you’d like to help Philip raise this sum, you can do so via his Just Giving Page. Any amount you feel able to give, no matter how small, will make a real difference.
