All the carpets and rugs were hand made at the Widows weaving centre in Kabul. Carpets are double weaved using local wools and dyes. Money from the sale of the rugs and carpets supports these women and their children who have no other form of financial support.
The rugs and carpets are individually hand woven and hand dyed using local wools and dyes, thus adding to their authenticity. All rugs are prewashed.
The rugs and carpets are produced in a variety of styles both traditional and modern. They can be viewed by arrangement at the World In Need offices.
